Welcome to ABKT!
Under the leadership of award-winning human rights activist Shad Begum, ABKT has been a catalyst for transformative change, empowering marginalized communities with special focus on women and youth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the newly merged districts through sustainable social, economic, and political development.

ABKT is empowering women and youth through mobilization, capacity building, and networking to enable them to thrive in leadership roles. By fostering their leadership, we are not just supporting individual growth but creating a ripple effect that transforms communities. We believe that women and youth leadership are critical because when women and youth are engaged in development, they bring unique perspectives, foster inclusive decision-making, and drive sustainable progress. Empowering women and youth means empowering entire communities, as they are key to promoting peace, economic growth, and social justice. The inclusion of women and youth in leadership roles ensures that development is more equitable, resilient, and aligned with the needs of all members of society.
